The site of the Brunei Catholic Church provides information of the Church’s presence in this oil-rich sultanate sandwiched between two Malaysian states on Borneo Island.

Formerly under the jurisdiction of a neighboring Malaysian diocese, the Brunei Apostolic Prefecture was formed following a November 2007 Papal decree. The prefecture consists three parishes, four Catholic schools and is ministered to by a tiny band of priests and religious sisters.
